  Choose the right room for your air purifier

  • Position the air purifier purposefully in the room in which the air is to be cleaned, and this should be a room in which people often spend time
  • Do not place the device in adjacent rooms, such as the dining room or hallway
  • Rooms that are particularly suitable for an air purifier: Living room, bedroom, study

  

  Make the most of the chimney effect

  • Place the air purifier on the floor, as there is usually a higher concentration of pollutants there
  • Place the device in a recess (e.g. between a wall and a chest of drawers) so that the cleaned air is only able to flow out upwards
  • This can also cause air to be drawn inwards at the lower part of the device, which increases air intake

  

  Pay attention to the height of surrounding objects

  • If the air purifier is at the same height or higher than the furniture around it, the cleaned air can flow over the other objects for more efficient air cleaning
  • If the air purifier is lower than the surrounding furniture, it may draw in the cleaned air again straight away
  • Pay special attention to furniture with a side wall, such as a couch, bed, desk
